Bauerfeind’s new Outdoor Knee Support provides your knee with targeted relief during hiking, walking and running, due to neuromuscular stabilization from the compression knit. This supports controlled movement and helps counteract excessive strain and injury.

The hiking knee brace's knit, made with mulesing-free merino wool, conforms to the natural shape of the knee for maximum freedom of movement. The Omega Pad encloses and massages the kneecap to stimulate circulation and improve muscle control. Together with the integrated strap, also known as Downhill Relief System, the Omega Pad redistributes pressure and relieves the knee during activity.

Downhill Relief System offers adjustable support for the patellar tendon.
When hiking or walking downhill, the knee is subjected to greater strain than on level ground due to additional forces, which can lead to knee problems. The Downhill Relief System reduces the effect of these forces via targeted support to the patellar tendon and anterior knee joint, helping to redistribute pressure when on the trail.

The built-in knee strap system provides additional relief by directly targeting the patellar tendon and the anterior knee joint. You can adjust the support and tighten the straps when going downhill or loosen them on the ascent.

Easy to put on and remove.
Donning and doffing aids integrated into the stays, combined with the stretchy knitted fabric, make it easier to put the brace on and take off with minimal effort. To put it on, simply slide the knee brace up your leg until its omega-shaped patellar pad perfectly surrounds the kneecap.
