Best SI support I've found - but I have troubles

I love this brace. I've been suffering terribly with an SI sprain for 6 months. I've tried several SI belts but this one provides, by far, the best support. It really locks my sacrum in place and allows me to do my daily work without further injury. However, in order to get the support I need from it, I need to cinch it pretty tight, which is causing some chaffing at the bony hip protrusions. I'm wearing it 24/7, only removing it to shower. I truly can't tolerate doing any activity without an SI belt on. So, these areas of broken skin are a major problem as I don't want them to get worse or infected. If I loosen the belt, it rides up to my waist and provides no support. I don't want to give up on it because I truly need this to work. I thought about sizing up, however I'm well within the measurements for the size I'm using. Any suggestions?

PAIN RELIEF

I am a physically active, fit, 73 yr old woman. I have severe SI joint pain from an old back injury and this brace exceeded my expectations for pain relief. The quality is exceptional and worth every penny! I'm sure it will save me from another surgery. I can wear it comfortably all day. You control the tension. My quality of life is VASTLY improved and I plan to purchase a second brace when they have a promotional discount. Highly, highly recommend!

Hands down best back brace!

Bought the Bauerfeind brace from a Relax the Back store during the worst lower back pain I was experiencing last year. It saved me! Had to use it again today a year after purchase and saved me again today. Huge praise! Highly recommend. Do not bother buying anything else. This is the Ferrari of back braces.

As soon as I put in on I instantly stood up straight for the first time in years. I had a S1 to L5 fusion ten years ago. This product has saved my life.

SI relief

I'm buying my second Bauerfeind Sacroloc belt. I've worn my first every day for the last five years. It's still good but I have an FSA account to use. It was instant relief. I could walk like a normal human being again. I put it on a friend to try out and she had the same instant result too..

Best SI Belt ever!

After trying many cheaper SI belts, which I couldn't wear for more than a few hours due to cutting and discomfort, I finally ordered the Sacro-Loc. Wish I hadn't wasted time with the others, as it's worth it's weight in gold. It's comfortable all day, both sitting and standing, breathes well, doesn't cut around the hips, doesn't cause any skin reaction, and stays in place beautifully. Not only does it provide support and pain relief, it is also training me to stop clenching muscles which has improved my gait. I've not only been impressed with the product itself, but also the customer service. I had a problem with twisting straps and a quick email inquiry yielded both a response and a phone call to discuss my concerns. Photos were shared, product designers consulted, and a new product was sent to me. This company is top notch all around!

Relieves my back pain

I purchased the SacroLoc to help with lower back and hip pain. The product thus far was definitely worth the money. The construction and materials definitely appear to be medical-grade (e.x. what I would expect to be provided by directly from a medical facility). The two-layer strap design works perfect, secures very well, and stays in place pretty well despite my hip/waist size. The "massaging" insert pads do a fantastic job of stimulating the area that bothers me the most without being obtrusive or uncomfortable. I wouldn''t think twice about buying this or another Bauerfeind product again.
